When designing the Hyperlite AJ Wakeboard Boots, pro rider Jimmy LaRiche wanted to focus on two things. First and foremost, the boot needed to have incredible support with great flexion. The second was a wake boot with a street style that had never been done before. The resulting boot not only met these expectations, but surpassed them. The AJs are designed to work exclusively with the Hyperlite System Bindings and the combination provides incredible support, with unmatched style. Older Binding Compatibility – System Boots are designed to work with the same year System Bindings. If using a 2013 or older System Binding, you will need an extra set of EVA pads from Hyperlite or evo. The only way to make a newer boot work with older System Bindings is with these EVA pads.
